GAME DESCRIPTION

Major Game Animals Taken: Sheep, Stone - Availability: Average - Trophy Size: 182 B&C Green. 178 7/8 B&C net. Game Sought But Not Taken: Game Condition Comments: Saw two rams due to extremely poor weather which included over two feet of snow and temperatures in the upper teens. We could hunt only 2 1/2 days out of nine hunting days due to weather.

SUMMARY REMARKS

Problems of Hunt: Poor weather, but that is beyond anyone's control. Highlights of Hunt: Taking what very well may be the largest Stone ram taken in North America in the last twenty years. Shot was 476 yards. The ram measures 43 X 15 and was 13 1/2 years old. Equipment Recommendations: Climbing boots, dress in synthetic layers, flat shooting rifle you shoot well, trekking pole. Would You Recommend This Hunt to a Friend? Yes Why? Jerry has some of the very best Stone ram habitat in North America. His quota is 16 and he only took four rams this year. This sheep had never been seen and many die of old age in parts of his concession that Jerry has never even hunted. This is the largest ram they have ever taken, but there are others still out there.

This was the greatest hunt of my life. Jerry could take more rams, but refuses to do so unless he can find the very best people to work for him. He keeps the quantity low, but the quality very high. It is a people oriented business and his guides take an interest in your success and your happiness with the hunt. While no one can control every variable, they work hard for you. Your safety is their number one concern. I could not recommend any operation any higher.
