Saw 15 cows and small bull later in the morning Game Condition Comments: The weather was warmer than usual, and winds were high (30-45 mph) several afternoons. The drought affected the quality of grass on the property. The rancher had also kept cattle on property due to price it took to take them to feed lot.

The reason there have been so many positive responses to the one negative prairie dog hunt is the way you are treated. The guides are professional and work hard. They make you feel at home. If any of the crew came to Kentucky, they would have a place to stay. It is amazing to watch the "new" hunters come into camp, saying that they hunted with Tyler for numerous years. There is laughter, kidding, and questions about family members.

We saw hundreds before noon the first day. We located at least a dozen bucks the first day that were trophy size bucks. The guides were good. The food was great. The lodge was very nice as well. It was a great experience.

Problems of Hunt: It can be windy. Practice shooting in all types of conditions to be prepared to take your trophy. Highlights of Hunt: The history of the local area is worth the trip. The guides were great with my father. He was 74 at the time and could not move more than 20ft from the truck. He had shots at 5 trophy antelope bucks and knocked down a great buck the last day. The guide was patient and helpful during the entire process. Equipment Recommendations: Quality Rangefinder. Shooting sticks or a bi-pod. Would You Recommend This Hunt to a Friend? yes Why? Tyler's mother makes the best desserts. I did not feel any pressure to pull the trigger on any animal. We spent 3 days in the field and saw several bucks worth taking. I am happy with the one I shot. While in camp I witnessed another guide, working with a father & son, track down a wounded antelope. The guide tracked the animal for 4 or 5 miles. The kid was thrilled that they were able to recover the buck. I think the kid was 12 years old and it was his first antelope buck. That's great service!

Problems of Hunt: Highlights of Hunt: Took my oldest son for his first western big game hunt. Tyler and his staff made us feel at home and treated my son as an equal, spending extra time with him on the hunt. Equipment Recommendations: Knee, elbow pads and leather gloves for use on crawling stalks. Would You Recommend This Hunt to a Friend? yes Why? Tyler's equipment and personnel are first rate. All hunts are conducted on private ranch property and antelope numbers are outstanding. Game is not pressured and the opportunity to take a book animal is good.

This is an excellent antelope hunt. Tyler's group will make it as difficult or as easy as you want it. They will tailor the hunt to you and your abilities. If you want to sneak in close, they'll help you get that done. If you want to drop one at 700 yards and are capable, they'll help you accomplish that as well. Game numbers are excellent and this is a fantastic hunt to take a first time big game hunter on. You will be treated with respect and courtesy. This is probably the most well run operation I have ever hunted with. All of the details are taken care of ahead of time. No last minute "who goes where with who on what day, etc...." Food and accommodations are good. Everything is clean and well cared for. All hunting is conducted on private ranch property, you will have zero pressure from other hunters. I intend to hunt with Tyler again.
