This was the second time we have hunted with Toby Coleman in the same area and due to our experience and success are already set to hunt again in 06 or 07. There were two other hunters with me on this trip. The group was successful in taking a 179, a 167 and a 155 B&C deer in three days. Many other deer were seen while sitting on stand after we had taken our deer.

Enclosed is a hunting trip report form of a short hunt I had that was just outstanding. I thought you might like to be aware of this trip. I met Toby Coleman at he Safari Convention and he is retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I booked a hunt for a black bear for two people. The hunt was just outstanding in every way. He is located 47 miles north of Prince Albert Saskatchewan. It is easy to drive or fly to. I flew my own plane there. I stayed at a guesthouse, which is very nice. His wife does the cooking and the meals were outstanding. Toby had 15 baits for black bears. He checked them twice a day and bears worked all of them, so it was a simple matter to take a really big black bear. My son accompanied me and we both shot our bears. I shot mine the first day and he shot his the third day. I saw five bears the first day before I shot one. Toby takes a lot of goose and duck hunters and this area was just covered with geese and ducks. He also has whitetailed deer and I saw some of his trophies. They were just outstanding. This man just did everything he could to make us feel at home and he worked very hard for us. He mostly has repeat customers, which is understandable. If someone wanted a short hunt for geese, black bear or white-tailed deer this is certainly the place to go. His rates are right and they make you feel at home and he really works for you.
