Good outfitter with good reputation. Very concerned about lack of game, has offered satisfactory arrangements. I will recommend this outfitter on a continued basis. Nice to have someone care after they have been paid.

SUMMARY REMARKS
Problems of Hunt: Worst hunt in Mexico I've ever been on. The only positive things I can say are that there were good quality deer in the area. And that I had a great guide. The rest of the hunt was a Fiasco. The entire operation was terrible. The camp ran on a generator which could not be started until one of the trucks arrived because it did not have a battery three nights out of six it was out of fuel. One hunters vehicle broke down leaving him stranded all night. They never even went and looked for him. The list of problems goes on and on.

Game Sought But Not Taken: Deer, Coues Whitetail - Availability: Was a second animal choice, concentrated on mulies.
Game Condition Comments: Game was scattered. Worst drought in years. Before the week was over everyone saw at least one really good buck and a couple truly exceptional deer.

SERVICE RATINGS (excellent, good, fair or poor)

Condition of Camp: Excellent Condition of Equipment: Good

Charter Airfares: Amount: $0
Other Costs: Tips. Amount: $0
Total: $0

SUMMARY REMARKS
Problems of Hunt: Drought, beyond anyone's control. We just hunted harder and farther.
Highlights of Hunt: Seeing a huge typical and non-typical within an hour of each other. The outfitter, his partner, and their staff. They couldn't do enough, I learned a lot about Sonora, not just a deer hunt.
Equipment Recommendations: I might pack a hydration system next time. King's desert camo worked very well. You might consider some type of shooting sticks.
Would You Recommend This Hunt to a Friend? Yes
Why? If you like to walk, enjoy the desert and the people who live there, and have a reasonable opportunity for a quality animal (which may give you all of a few seconds to make up your mind) you should go.

Patience and persistence. Maybe no deer all day and then you get a chance. It may be your last, and maybe not. That is the challenge of tracking deer in the desert.
