Our luggage was lost enroute to Madrid and finally showed up on our last day of the hunt. The loss had to do with a baggage handlers strike in Paris, plus mishandling enroute from Paris to Madrid. Everything was intact when the bags finally arrived. We had to purchase hunting clothes and boots to continue our hunt. We borrowed binoculars and outer garments and rented a gun as intended. |

I booked four (4) species for this hunt. The 4th animal booked was a chamois and it was booked as a result of a last minute plea from Safari Brokers at a 25% discount from the trophy fee. Nothing was ever said about the amount of additional travel time that would result or that I would be charged an extra day for booking this animal. The additional travel resulted in viewing some beautiful countryside, but we never reached our next days hunting area until well after dark. |

Our driver and host, Jamie, introduced us to his parents and family. His father was the Police Chief of Madrid and had some very interesting stories and was very fun to socialize with. We saw some very beautiful sites as a result of the extensive travel. Jamie went out of his way to help us get some hunting boots and clothes because of our lost luggage. Each species hunted intoduced us to a new game police that served as our guide for that animal. The game police is the person that really controls the hunt and calls the shots. Very knowledgeable individuals for the species and area being hunted. |

Always borderline disorganized and too much travel time at night. Animals were scarce and only average trophies. The biggest problem has been the support and handling of my trophies since the hunt. I am approaching 2 years since the hunt and I still do not have one of my trophies and the outfitter seems to not care that it is lost. I paid a $7,500 trophy fee for a Gredos Ibex. Paid $650 for the shoulder mount taxidermy of the Gredos ibex. Paid $140 for a trophy export fee. Paid the shipper, Aswind, $967 to get the trophies to the US. Paid Coppersmith $553 to clear the trophy shipment into the US. Depending on how some of the fees are allocated, I have spent around $1,200 for a shoulder mount of a Gredos Ibex that I still don't have and Safari Brokers and Alvaro no longer even respond to my requests for assistance in finding my missing trophy that they confirmed was in the shipment. |

I have not actually asked for restitution, because the outfitter will not communicate with me. But I think I should get my trophy fee and all taxidermy related charges back if they do not have my Gredos ibex trophy. That amount would be approx $8,700. |

Additional comments from Keith Busking:
Regarding my trophies from this hunt, my biggest concern is that I am totally missing my Gredos ibex shoulder mount. The chamois skin and red deer skin had to be destroyed because of improper salting and drying. Safari Brokers were also supposed to ship two blank wooden plaques for mounting skulls of the chamois and red deer. None were received.
I did have what I thought was a good meeting with Felix at the January SCI show. He made some promises to find my missing trophy and make good on the other items. I've not heard a word since and have sent several emails asking for help.
