Hunted with my 17 year old son. We purchased this donated hunt at the SCI auction in Reno. It included 2 Gold Medal red stag, a tahr and chamois plus duck hunting and fishing. My son told Tim when he got there that he wanted to try for the South Pacific Slam by shooting 12 South Pacific species and they got it done, hence the upgrade charges. We hunted the red stag, wapiti and fallow deer at the 20,000 acre Foveran Deer Park. The game was plentiful and in good shape. We took 388" and 365" stag, a 360" wapiti and several 200+" fallow of different colors. We also hunted free range tahr, free range red stag and feral boar in the Hunter Hills area and traveled to the West Coast via helicopter for free range Chamois in the mountains around Mt Cook. Somewhere along the way, we managed to find South Pacific wild turkey, Arapawa ram, feral goat and a feral ox, plus a South Pacific whitetail. The feral boar had 8" tusk showing and may be the new South Pacific #1 after drying. My son also took the feral goat and feral ox with a crossbow with will put each of those in the Top 10 in their categories. Tim is an excellent PH and managed to fill every minute of our day with some type of hunting adventure. When we weren't hunting big game, we were after rabbit or duck hunting in the evenings and we even found time to go shark fishing and Bungy Jumping. The Hunter Hills Lodge was comfortable, we each had private rooms and Tim's wife Vanessa took good care of us and made us feel right at home while we were there.

The hunt of a lifetime. The area was around 20,000 acres - trophy class animals but was a challenge - the stag I took was massive beyond belief - you can stick your arm and fist into the crowns - I highly recommend this outfitter and this hunt.
