Major Game Animals Taken: Sheep, Snow - Availability: Scarce - Trophy Size: Siberian Snow sheep, 146. Game Sought But Not Taken: Game Condition Comments: Had to hunt three different camps. Saw signs of heavy wolf population in first camp. Many bears spotted in second camp. Fog, rain, snow, sleet and hail also made hunting difficult. 130 KM winds knocked me down three times crossing mountain ridge.

Problems of Hunt: Advise don't overnight in Seoul. Korean customs is a joke when it comes to firearms. Weather was terrible. Hunt took an extra week. Despite weather problems, wolves and bears, outfitter had us go to three different camps at his expense to get an opportunity at a ram. Guide worked very hard.

Extremely wild due to poachers on motorcycles. Game Condition Comments: Game is extremely skitish and wild. Area appears to have been overhunted. Trophy quality was fair to poor. Most rams were in the 28 to 32 inch category, with the big rams already shot out.

Problems of Hunt: Communication with driver and guide. Big language barrier. Highlights of Hunt: It was a great challenge hunting these skittish rams. I made a beautiful 500 yard shot.
