Problems of Hunt: None. Highlights of Hunt: This was my daughter's first hunt at age 16. I took both daughters (age 16 and 6) to Africa for their first trip. The younger took all the animals, the older does not hunt. A very nice camp to take your family for comfort and controlled conditions. Equipment Recommendations: Would You Recommend This Hunt to a Friend? Yes Why? This is a great place to take people who are not used to a rough camp but want comfort yet hunt.

I recently returned from Republic of South Africa after hunting with Christo Gomes of Mabula Pro Safari and wanted to report a great trip. My two daughters aged 16 & 26 both wanted to go to Africa. One to hunt, the other to photograph. I normally (seventh African trip) prefer a tent camp in open country by a river, but knowing my daughters would enjoy more comfort, I booked with Christo in a very nice lodge setting in his hunting ranch. My 16 year old is a cheerleader and this was her first ever hunt. She used a 280 and I spent a lot of time with her on target practice, Christo made us all feel comfortable and my daughter shot five animals all with one shot each. She is hooked and we all had a great trip. For those seeking a comfortable and protected setting for their family, but still enjoy an African experience I recommend this. This hunt was a Dallas SCI Auction hunt.
