I cannot say enough good things about this hunt. Very enjoyable. From two days visiting Victoria Falls to the hunting and attention to detail. These guys are real hunters with lots of experience. Your safety comes first! His tracker Fidelis was amazing, I never saw a tracker work so hard and so excited for the trophy!

| Problems
of Hunt: |
Due to late rains the vegetation was quite dense consequently visibility was anywhere from 10 to 30 yards in the bush. |
| Highlights
of Hunt: |
Taking my first elephant the seventh day of the hunt with a frontal brain shot. Watching the trackers work is simply incredible. This was real hunting on track 8 to 10 hours per day. |

Recommendations: |
Gators for your boots, best piece of personal equipment outside of your rifle. |

Tim Lamprecht my PH worked hard to ensure a quality hunting experience. Tim spent the time discussing in detail what to do and when. |

This was real hunting and to maximize the experience the better your physical condition the more enjoyment you will have. This is the place to go if you want to have a real hunting experience tracking and stalking game, working hard to get up on the animal to take a shot. The Sijirira Forest concession is a combination of Mopane forest, and jess over rocky and sandy undulating terrain. There is an abundance of game although the thick jess at the time I was there made spotting game difficult. Game abundance was verified by the number of fresh tracks seen daily. Particularly abundant are crocodile in bays and eddies of Lake Kariba and hippo. The hunting lodge is situated along the shoreline of Lake Kariba. There are eight chalets all well maintained, have en-suite facilities and quite comfortable. Meals were excellent.

Dear Mr. Don Causey Thank you for the honest report of Mr. D Teonshoff, we sat down like gentlemen and discussed this safari, the agent Mr. Jeff Martinell took U$5000.00 out of the package which left me with U$ 11000.00 for a 10 day Elephant hunt. On top of this he also took a crocodile and hippo (for what additional daily rate l do not know as l was in a position to make my client happy) which in this case does not seem so. Here with costs of what his safari should have costed, elephant (normal trophy fee U$10,000) daily rate (normal @ 1000 x 10 U$ 10,000)
Hippo trophy fee $3,000 Crocodile trophy fee $3,000 Govt tax 2% levy $200 TOTAL $26,200 This is what Mr. D Teonshoff safari should cost. Am i right or wrong? now Mr. D Teonshoff paid his Elephant + daily of U$ 11 000.00 after the agents huge commission removed (That is why l am no longer in business with him). He also the paid his normal trophy fees for the crocodile and Hippo, l also told him that his additional U$ 2000.00 he paid me he would receive a U$ 1500. refund, which l now have finalised and about to advise him please also note that how does one hunt for a U$100 a day and at the end of his successfully hunt l am the asshole. I must express my extreme disappointment on this client as his safari was for (FREE) to also have the option that Jimba Safaris was a poor planner, like every safari the P.H is always the key to sucess ! l await your professional comments regards Wayne Jimba Safaris
