Michael and Danielle Grosse go out of their way on these hunts to ensure hunters and families have a good time. This is a unique hunt - not many outfitters do Scottish hunting. Very unique experience with the formality of Scottish Highlands Estate gamekeepers. I'd recommend it for the experience and the unique trophies.

Problems of Hunt: Highlights of Hunt: Stalking game the Scottish way with my 10 year old daughter and watching her perfectly take a Gold Medal fallow buck. The hill country produces a lot of bucks, most aren't huge. Mine was average. My hunting partner took two really nice bucks an hour apart from the same stand. I could have taken a better buck later in the hunt but I has holding out for something really big.

I exchanged this hunt for a Scottish hillstag hunt that I could not go on. Mike was very easy to work with and rather than just take my deposit he allowed me to trade the hunt for something that I could do. He allowed my cousin to come and stay a couple of days and did not charge anything extra.This was extra special as my cousin has never hunted before and he was able to observe me taking the buck. Mike also refused to take any tips as he feels that the owner should not be tipped. The deer are very small bodied in this region so you have to be careful when field judging them.
