Problems of Hunt: Amazing for a North American hunt - there were none. Highlights of Hunt: Climbed 10,000 feet vertical (5,000 up and 5,000 down) in one and a half days. Terry Jr. was the best guide I have had in North America. He was professional, patient and friendly. Really knew his stuff. I finally gave up on drawing a ram tag, so applied for a ewe and got it the first year. We saw three rams and they were all below the ewes. This was the only band of ewes we spotted - there were 16 of them. They were at 12,000 feet on South side of Pikes Peak. One reason I picked Terry to do my guiding was because he was guiding a ram hunter right before me, so he would have a great opportunity to spot ewes. He is very familiar with this area, so all worked out well.

Only one half of the area was scouted. Over 20 large bull elk (5 and 6 point) were seen as well as hundreds of cow, yearling and four point or less bulls.

Saw elk and mulies everyday, but ran out of time several days. Game Condition Comments: Very healthy. 1) Mulie missed 250 yrds 2) Mulie spooked by horse 3) Mulie stalk, gave us the slip while trying to stalk around 4-8 cow elk.
