Doing an elephant hunt by tracking has always been a dream of mine. Lots of walking, saw over 150 elephants, taking him on day 11 at twenty yards from among a group of about 20 others and being charged by a cow elephant after shooting mine. Unbelievable. |

The elephant was taken on the first day. It was very exciting to find grass still wet with saliva. My wife and daughter accompanied me on the one hour stalk. Desert elephants are not as large in body size as in other areas. My elephant was the largest we saw in 9 days of hunting the area. |
