I booked this hunt so that I could collect some small antelopes found in the east cape. hunting Blue duiker with jack Russels and shotgun was an absolute thrill. Running the caracal with dogs was equally as exciting. Hunting oribi on the coast with the indian ocean in view was great. grysbuck at night...fantastic. this outfit is first class. However, the lodge is only about 100 yards from a main road and you could hear the trucks and cars as they drove by at night in the morning. may not be ideal for the first time African hunter. Regardless, the hunting was Fantastic! |

448 yard shot on the vaal rhebok in a 30 mph crosswind. Three other shots just under 300. All one shot kills. That GAO sniper school really worked. |

This was a multi family trip and the children were hunting and Global Adventure Outfitters arranged tours for the wives and a side trip to Kruger in an upscale lodge for all 13 of us. This is a great family vacation hunting destination and the area provides wonderful outside activities, scenery and shopping. GAO did a great job of arranging it all in a single package.

A very good family hunt. You can take your wife and kids but they must like hunting and understand the aspects of a hunt. The overall experience was very good. It was not a "Hemingway Hunt" but is was not billed as such.

I booked this hunt with Arthur Rudman knowing this would be a very tough list of animals to take. But after three safaris: 1997, 2000, and 2002 to Africa and already taking most of the average bigger plains game. This turned out to be my most enjoyable hunt. The Rudman family was the most helpful people of any outfitter I have ever hunted with (bar none) in Africa.Arthur is one of the largest land owner's in the Eastern Cape, in which is 50,000 acres. I also wanted the Seaval, which he was going to arrange for me, but decided not to change area's. The Rudman family is the maning of true professionals, and most enjoyable and helpful people to hunt and be with. |

Hunting the blue duiker, hunting the Cape grysbok, going saltwater fishing. Missing on my 40th animal of three safaris. Finally, the Cape fox - drop my rifle before the hunt. |

Some of the most honest and helpful people I have ever dealt with. Out of about my 20-25 hunts in the past 20 years. Hope to return one day with my daughter. Got a quote from about 12 different PH's and outfitters. Turned out to be the best choice. Always try to do my homework before booking a hunt. Urge everyone to do the same. Have been on some not so good hunts. But I always have a good time. This is why it's hunting. |
