This was our 15th consecutive year to hunt with Jack Billingsly and his wife which speaks for itself. Our hunts have included both whitetail and mule deer, both very abundant in the area. In 2003, I was successful in taking the third largest mule deer as judged by the Montana Guide and Outfitter Association, measuring 164 3/8 B&C. I would highly recommend anyone to consider Jack's operation. There are obviously equal but I do not think better run operations. They make you feel like you are home.

As reported last year for your feature story, myself and five friends again hunted with Jack Billingsley of Glasgow, Montana during the 1999 season. Again, everything (accommodations, food, equipment and game) was super. All hunters took above average deer (two mule and four whitetails). I highly recommend this operation. Yes, we are going back this year the week before Thanksgiving!

Note: Hunter also took pheasants that were super wide. Very good game condition! This was our fifth trip in this area for whitetail and mule deer. Group consist of four to six hunters. Each trip with 100 percent success with above average quality animals. Set to return with five hunters for same time period in 1999. |
