Also, saw numerous Bear (not in season).

Hunt in general: There were resident hunters in the area, but Mr. Schneider told me that there might be some others there before I booked the hunt. My guides worked hard beyond description to find rams, all a hunter could ask for. Schneider's experience and knowledge of the area gives him an advantage over others. Highlights of the hunt: Seeing 15 California bighorn rams in one day. Beautiful area to hunt and glass in, good horses, and other hunters I met here were gentlemen/sportsmen. I would recommend this hunt to a friend because this is a third generation, longstanding family operation which conducts its hunts in traditional style; camps are efficiently run and between guides, wrangler and cooks, and you get the sense that this is a quality outfit. Mr. Schneider does not have to advertise his hunts, His area and reputation pretty well assure lots of repeat hunters,. Cats, goat and mule deer are among other hunt offerings here.
