Game Sought But Not Taken: Game Condition Comments: There were 10 hunters in camp - took eight sheep the first day. Lots of sheep and plenty of gazelle. Most sheep were over 10 years old with three over 12.

Major Game Animals Taken: Deer, Mule - Availability: Abundant - Trophy Size: Good size. Game Sought But Not Taken: Deer, Whitetail - Availability: Couldn't find a big one. Game Condition Comments: Sitting in blind in mornings and evenings. Pushing brush timber in wheat field during the day.

SUMMARY REMARKS

Problems of Hunt: Encounter some problems with some farmland owners who will not allow "American hunters" on their land because US stops cattle imports from Canada. As a result, price of each head drops from $800 to $200. Canadian cattle ranchers are having a really tought time today. Highlights of Hunt: We hunted hard from dawn to dusk. We enjoyed having to make quick trophy size judgement once the deer is driven from the heavy cover to the open wheat field. We were prepared to shoot at running deer in a second's notice. Equipment Recommendations: It is more convenient if our rifle is equipped with a detachable magazine because we are not allowed to have a loaded firearm (not even in the magazine) while we are in the hunting vehicle. Would You Recommend This Hunt to a Friend? Yes Why? It is very challenging and lots of fun.

Real professional. Pat Frederick. Put trip together and accompanied them. Well done, good food and good care of them. Spring hunt, lost 10 feet of snow the week they were there. More difficult to get out on snow mobles to pick out bears. Spot and stalk hunting. Saw tremendous amount of bears. Last week of season, lots of activities on carcasses, lots coming out of hibernation. A lot of medium size 7-8 foot bears. Bear he took was a 28 inch skull, green measurement. Did not have a final measurement. Over 10-foot bear. Highly recommend. Especially for someone in not great shape. Not as rugged, like an Alaska coastal hunt.
