Major Game Animals Taken: Bear, Black - Availability: Abundant - Trophy Size: 6 foot 6 inches. Game Sought But Not Taken: Game Condition Comments: Lots of nice bears. Good wolf hunting also. Dale takes bigger bears on average than his competitor - Jimmie Rosenbruch and does a longer, cheaper hunt.

Problems of Hunt: None. Highlights of Hunt: Seeing my stepson - A.J. take a good bear. He is 13 years old. Also the shrimping and crabbing from Dale's 68 foot boat is fun. Equipment Recommendations: Hip boots, raingear and weather proof rifle. Would You Recommend This Hunt to a Friend? Yes Why? Hunting with Dale's 68 foot boat for a base camp is great for kids, wives and older hunters. Shower, washer/dryer, freezers, full kitchen are awesome. Very comfortable state rooms. Hunting/glassing is done from skiffs.

Major Game Animals Taken: Wolf - Availability: Abundant - Trophy Size: 16 13/16 inch skull - 120 pound male. Game Sought But Not Taken: Bear, Black - Availability: Late spring - only saw 10 bears. Should see eight or so per day normally. Large bears are there (seven feet plus). Game Condition Comments: We called several wolves in by calling (predator) and howling. Shot a large male alpha at 266 yards. Hugh skull and large bodied. Turned down the bears I saw. Looking for very large bear.

Problems of Hunt: Just a late spring for bears. Not Dale's fault. Highlights of Hunt: Watching my wolf come in from 1/2 mile across a tidal flat at low tide and Dale howling him in. Equipment Recommendations: Good optics and rain gear. Zeiss stabalizing binos work great from skiff. Would You Recommend This Hunt to a Friend? Yes Why? We used Dale's 56' boat for a comfortable base camp and hunted by skiff to glass bears - then go ashore for stalk.
