ADDITIONAL
HUNTER COMMENTS AND/OR OUTFITTER/BOOKING AGENT REBUTTAL |
 |
Trip was 4 days of hunting, 5 days of touring. Purpose was to collect pinkfoot geese. Hunted geese 2 mornings, ducks in the evenings under moonlight. No closing time, here. During the day, hunted rabbits with ferrets, snipe, and woodcock on the moors. Pigeons over decoys. Third day driven grouse in the highlands. 4th day ducks in the morning, roe deer in the afternoon. Other in our party hunted red stag and driven pheasant.
Thought it was a fun trip with lots of value at a reasonable cost. Did a little of everything that the Scots do, good dog work, spaniels and labs. Excellent food and hotel room with guides and land owners who were happy to have you as their guest. Of course this is their full time job as professional gamekeepers. Book with Charles, he is one of the best at what he does. This trip was the 1st that Charles had in Scotland and it was fun, for a little of everything.
