Its always a pleasure to hunt an area that gets so little hunting pressure. I don't know if I will ever go on another safari where I take so many animals that rank so high in the record book. |

| Why? |
Richard is an excellent hunter and pilot. Richard is native to Burkina Faso and has been hunting these animals in this area for appox 39 years. All of his equipment is in the best of maintenance. Richard takes pride in everything he does and does not cut corners. The safari experience is one of the best I have had. The area is truly wild with very little hunting pressure, the presidential area is aggressively patrolled to prevent poaching. The hunting area, the camp and Richard Julia are all a credit to Burkina Faso as well as the sport of hunting. |

Richard, his wife Paulina and daughter Emily also operate a very nice hotel in Oagadougu. In addition to this Paulina is the head nurse at the American Embassy in Oagadough. Richard and his family are generous and gracious hosts and well connected both socially and politically in Burkina Faso.
