Passing Through The US With A FirearmPublished: July - 2002 Talk about crazy rules! If you are a non-US citizen, you can no longer pass through the US with a firearm on the way to hunt in another country. Seems you would have to have what's called a temporary import license to do that, and you can't get such a permit unless you are a US citizen. The prohibition applies even if you want to simply pass through a US airport.
