Not so, according to a gentleman by the name of Osean Kebonyemodisa, who identified himself to us this past month as director of the office in charge of the investigation into Calitz. In a phone interview, he confirmed to us that Calitz was going to be allowed to hunt this coming season. No, he was not prepared to say that Calitz had been completely cleared of all charges, or that his personal PH license was being granted, but he had liased with Botswana Game Department officials on the matter, and he was prepared to say that Calitz' company was going to be allowed to operate this coming year in Botswana. "You can tell your subscribers they have nothing to fear on that score," he said. We will continue to follow this matter and file additional reports as developments warrant.
