Here at The Hunting Report, we cannot account for the many reports that have circulated about hunts (or possibly a hunt) taking place in the Murchinson Falls National Park area. Neither can Christian Wyeth of Jagdkontor in Germany, who first told us about those hunts. Wyeth, in fact, is the person who alerted us to the possibility that some misinformation was put out about Uganda - misinformation that seems to have snared him as well as other hunting professionals. "Please tell your subscribers I have not asked anyone to send me a deposit on a hunt in Uganda. I haven't asked for deposits because I wasn't sure what was going on," he told The Hunting Report.
As this is written, we have not been able to reach Franz Wengert, the other hunting professional who has mentioned hunts in Uganda. We will pass on what he says as soon as we reach him.
