Red Stag Island HuntsPublished: August - 2001 Those island hunts in the Black Sea I told you about in my 1998 write-up on Geurink are on offer again. These hunts still cost $5,995 including airfare, but will go up to $6,495 next year - the first price increase in 10 years. It seems that newly wealthy Russians and Ukrainians are moving in and trying to buy or lease hunting lands right out from under Geurink. The competition is forcing prices up as he has to bid against those people.
