Good News On China HuntsPublished: August - 2001 Two subscribers have weighed in with reports on hunts in the Dulan area of China's Qinghai Province arranged through Bob Patton of Can-Asia. They report their hunts were well managed and that the area is chock full of game. In fact, subscriber J. Alain Smith says he took a blue sheep that should score in the top 25 in the SCI Record Book on the first day of his hunt after seeing over 150 rams. He also took an SCI gold medal Tibetan gazelle and says this was simply a "great" hunt. The second subscriber, Edward D. Yates, reports taking what he says is a gold medal Tibetan gazelle and a silver medal blue sheep. Both report paying about $7,000 for their hunts.
