Before I continue, a quick review of Taulman's services is in order. Taulman offers two products - a permit-application service and traditional outfitting services. Let me summarize his application program first. Professional Licensing Service submits applications for 13 big game species (antelope, Rocky Mountain bighorn, Coues deer, Dall sheep, desert bighorn, elk, goat, ibex, mule deer, mountain lion, oryx, Shiras moose and whitetail deer) in 12 different states (Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, Nevada, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming). That should cover most North American hunting agendas!
Taulman sends interested hunters a number of forms, which must be filled out and returned. One of these forms inquires about your physical condition (or more importantly, any limitations) and what you want to hunt. Another form is a Limited Power of Attorney allowing Professional Licensing Service to complete your applications for you.
At this point, you can choose to use Taulman's outfitting services or not. If you choose an unguided hunt, they will submit your applications for the states and units that best match your expectations. You pay for the cost of the license and permit application in each state, plus a one-time consulting fee of $113 for each state you apply in.
