Still in Zambia, but on another subject, continuing subscribers will almost surely remember that buffalo incident that left Hunting Report subscriber Noel Wolfe seriously injured this past summer. Well, the official enquiry on the incident has now been completed and the PH involved, Bill Williams, is going to come through with only a "censure" for not having his client with him at all times.
We published starkly different accounts of this incident back in the October issue, you'll recall, one of them from Wolfe and one from Williams (see the October 2000 issue, pages 7-9). We won't recap those accounts here, but suffice it to say both of them, in our view, indeed painted a picture of a PH who did not keep his client with him at all times, which is a basic requirement of all PHs. Apparently the committee looking into the incident came to the same conclusion.
