Trouble is, the reallocation was due to be announced way back in November. Ditto the naming of a new director of ZAWA. Compounding the worries, at press time word reached us that the Minister of Tourism has been abruptly removed from office and replaced by the Minister of Health, who reportedly has no experience in game matters. There is talk that the old minister may have been involved in some game-related improprieties, so his removal could be a sign that the allocation will ultimately be a good one that puts the country's hunting areas in strong hands. We wouldn't be doing our job if we didn't warn you that no one at this writing has a lock on a hunting area in Zambia next year. We recommend you use appropriate caution.
