Near press time, we spoke with a Baca representative who confirmed that the owners continue to be "willing sellers," but they are not actively soliciting bids at this time. Serious would-be buyers can reach the owners at 800-456-6620. It is not known just how much the property is worth, and, in fact, negotiations to sell it to the government broke down over the government's failure to keep appraisal information confidential.
