He's Emanuel Severe, whose former duties included overseeing all matters relating to CITES. The naming of the new director paves the way for a clarification of the year 2000 reallocation of safari areas. Rumors have been swirling for months that some companies are going to have their areas taken away at the end of this hunting season.
