All hunts include accommodations and meals. Paradise Ranch spokesmen tell us they want to eliminate the elk because they have just bought a new piece of property they want to devote to elk hunting. Rather than trap and move the animals, they decided to simply hunt them out. The current property, which comprises 800 acres of rolling hardwood forest and open food plots, is going to be devoted exclusively to whitetail deer hunting. Correspondent Tim Jones, who told us about all this, says he was at Paradise Ranch this past May and was impressed at the size of the deer he saw. He writes:
"The Paradise Ranch property is very steep and quite heavily wooded, which means the hunting here will not be a fish-in-a-barrel kind of deal. As for the lodge, it has been built to `spare-no-expense' standards. If you look long and hard, you might find hunting accommodations and services as plush as what's being offered here. Might.
