"Jason is a very dedicated professional with strong ethics who works hard to ensure clients have a great hunt and experience while practicing quality conservation techniques. Our game was taken care of very professionally, gutted in the field, skinned and cooled at his home, then delivered to a local butcher for cutting, wrapping and freezing. Bring a big cooler for getting your meat home."

Spot-and-stalk black bear hunts are for two days and priced at $2,000, including camping accommodations. The season runs from the last weekend in September through the end of December. Bears average around 250 pounds in this area and feed in large clearcuts, and Mead is confident that he can get clients a bear in two days. "If we find that isn't enough time, I'll extend the hunt."........(continued)
