· Best Run Hunting Camp: Sango Camp, Save Valley. This camp is operated by Zambezi Hunters. -- We have a total of 13 reports on this operation, 10 of them on their Save Valley area. All rate the camp, meals, outfit, etc. as excellent. The last three reports specifically mention Sango and are from Will J. Parks. He hunted there in 2009 (Report 7307), 2011 (8505) and 2012 (8759) with PH Thierry Labat. He killed good leopard (see photo in our online Trophy Gallery) and buffalo (one 40-incher) on both hunts, and a "monster" lion, a 56-pound elephant, 11-foot croc and 27-inch hippo.
· Consistent Excellence: Mokore Safaris, operated by Barrie Duckworth in the Save Valley and Zambezi Valley. -- We have 21 reports on file going back to 2010. They are all highly positive, listing good quality trophies, raves on game management, praises for PHs and overall excellent marks on the operation as a whole.
· Best Elephant: Lloyd Yeatman, Shangani Safaris. Areas: Naivasha, Lowveld. Average of both tusks is 90 pounds. -- We have three reports on hunts guided by Lloyd Yeatman, all positive (884, 2229, 8158). Most of the elephants reported on were in the 50-something range, with one reported at 63 pounds. There are also a number of reports on the Naivasha area and Shangani going back to 1999.
