This year's winner is John Amistoso (US) who took an enormous East Caucasian tur that scores 181 3/8 SCI. He shot the tur in the Filfilee area of Azerbaijan with Kaan Karakaya of Shikar Safaris. Amistoso received the award at the 27th Convention of the SCI Italian Chapter this past May.
Congratulations are also in order for Hunting Report subscriber Trevor L. Ahlberg (US) who is among this year's runners-up for his Gobi argali, scoring 232 5/8 SCI, taken in Mongolia, also with Kaan Karakaya of Shikar Safaris.

James Aaron Roth (US) for his California bighorn sheep, scoring 190 6/8 SCI, taken in Washington State with Angela M. Roth.
Mario Canales (Mexico) for his desert bighorn sheep, scoring 193 7/8 SCI, taken in Sonora, Mexico, on a self-guided hunt.
Matt Rippentrop (US) for his Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, scoring 204 6/8 SCI, taken in Montana on a self-guided hunt.
