I have an update on the condition of PH Anthony Howland, who was also accidently shot by a client in Zimbabwe. You'll recall I reported last month that he was hit in the arm just above his right elbow with a .500 Nitro. Subscriber Ken Nelson sent me an email informing me that Howland is recovering remarkably well and has ventured back to the Zambezi Valley. He is seeing a specialist in Cape Town for a prosthesis. "I know many Hunting Report readers have enjoyed knowing Anthony as much as I have," he writes. "He is a rising star in the African hunting community and intends to remain so! I have set up a trust fund for him since there are obviously extreme expenses in his rehabilitation. Donations can be made to the Anthony Howland PH Trust. Mail C/O Dr. KW Nelson, 2723 E Central, Andover, KS 67002. Thanks for your help."
