Corroborating the new Sandemier's claims, subscriber Paul E. Fabian has filed a very positive report on a sheep hunt in September, 2010. Fabian writes:
"I hunted sheep in units S23 and S27, which were combined by the Colorado Division of Wildlife due to a recent reduction in sheep populations. Only two licenses were issued for these two units in 2010.
"As originally contracted, this hunt was nine days: seven days of hunting and two days to pack in and out. However, I agreed to split my hunt into two different segments so that Terry could guide a hunter in a different unit. In return, Terry agreed to extend my hunt from seven days to 10. As it turned out, I hunted with Terry for 12 days, and he even joined me for an additional weekend while I was hunting on my own. I hunted 21 days out of a 34-day season.
"I was unsuccessful, but that was not due in any way to the effort extended by Terry. He worked very hard the whole time we hunted together. In my opinion, my lack of success was due to the reduced sheep population in the units........(continued)
