Peel Forest Safaris operates just 90 minutes from Christchurch, and is located on the Peel Forest near New Zealand's Southern Alps. Moore says they also enjoyed other activities during their stay. "While we were hunting, the ladies took a river rafting trip that they reported as very exciting, plus some local day-trips. We also took an extra week and toured around the South Island and spent a couple of days in Auckland.
