Grand Slam Club/Ovis Offers Special Seminar on Hunting in IranPublished: February - 2011 Hunters who are interested in learning more about hunting in Iran may wish to attend a special seminar offered by the Grand Slam Club/Ovis at its upcoming Hunter & Outfitter Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, February 23-26, at Paris Hotel & Casino. Called "Hunting Iran: Myths, Truths and Consequences," the event will feature a panel led by Grand Slam Club/Ovis Executive Director Dennis Campbell. Panel members include former Iranian citizens and well-known international hunters Soudy Golabchi, Reza Golsorkhi and Morad Tahbaz, in addition to David Laylin, who was involved in the hunting industry there pre-revolution, and John J. Jackson, III, of Conservation Force. Campbell has hunted and traveled extensively in Iran and has authored a book entitled, A Complete Guide to the Sheep and Ibex of Iran.
