I told you last month that Christian Weth of Uganda Wildlife Safaris had cancelled his last safari of the season with subscriber Craig Boddington due to a bad bout of malaria that caused Weth to suddenly return to Germany for treatment. In an e-mail note I recently received from him, he tells me that he has recovered and is back in Uganda. Boddington's safari has been rescheduled, and Weth says he has started preparing for his 2011 season, which he says is fully booked. In discussing some of the difficulties in his first season, Weth told me that his 2011 clients are mostly from Europe, which is where he will focus his marketing now instead of the US. Here at The Hunting Report, we have a number of subscribers from Europe, and I hope to get their reports on Weth's operation for the next safari season. Hopefully, Weth will have all the bugs worked out by then.
