Well, it seems Day has secured confirmation from BA's general manager of aviation security that this is no longer the case. Hunters can confidently transit the UK aboard British Airways with hunting firearms of any caliber. However, you need to know that there is still a list of countries to which the UK will not allow any firearms transit, no matter what airline you fly with. The destinations are: Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia, Croatia, Ethiopia, Iran, FYR Macedonia, Nepal, China, Serbia, Sudan, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe. Our thanks to Day for pursuing this issue.
