Wild Sheep Foundation Moves Annual Convention Back To Reno In 2010Published: November - 2008 And the Wild Sheep Foundation (formerly Foundation for North American Wild Sheep) has announced that it will return to Reno for its convention in 2010. Furthermore, the organization will be on its own. After 2009, it will no longer host the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo in Salt Lake City with the Mule Deer Foundation and Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife. According to Wild Sheep Foundation Chairman Louis Rupp, the move reflects the organization's new strategic direction as well as a two-to-one member preference for Reno over other convention sites. The group has already booked the Silver Legacy Resort in Reno for 2010 and 2011.
