Botswana Yields New Number One Cape ElandPublished: June - 2008 Over in Botswana, Debbie Peak of Mochaba tells us that a new No. 1 Cape eland has hit the ground. The beast of a trophy scores 117 1/8 SCI, comfortably surpassing the current Number One score of 116 2/8. Hunter Adolfo Caminero killed the animal last season in the CT1 Tonunga Concession with help from PH Alan Schmidt of Destination South Safaris.
