I've told you before that De Vries has been finding it difficult to get things done in Angola. That was still the case at press time when I reached him in the US, where he was attending a hunting convention. De Vries said he has all the necessary equipment to begin hunting in Angola. The stumbling block is paperwork authorizing him to start operations. With oil and diamonds so lucrative, it has been hard to get the government to focus on hunting, he says. He promised to keep The Hunting Report up to date on developments.
