Australia Handgun Hunting Reopens in The Northern TerritoryPublished: November - 2007 Matt Graham at Hunt Australia Safaris tells us there is some good news for handgun hunters. Seems safari operators licensed in the Northern Territory are now allowed to own and use large caliber handguns in that province, says Graham, and that paves the way for safari operators to loan their `company' handguns to clients for hunting purposes. Graham says he has that straight from the Northern Territory Firearm Registry, which handles licensing and import permits. Of course, none of this means hunting clients can import their own handguns, as federal restrictions prevent that.
