Remember Alain Lefol and his plans to open the west African country of Chad to hunting? Continuing subscribers know Lefol is headed into his third year of trying to gain access to this country's Barbary sheep, Dorcas gazelle, western greater kudu, Senegal hartebeest and other animals. Well, the good news is, Lefol says he feels certain he has things squared away for a December 1 opening. In a phone call last month from Paris, Lefol said he has 10 clients booked, and he's confident they will all go afield. Here's hoping he's right.
