The monster simba was taken by Byron Christie from the US with PH Mike Murray of Bottlepan Safaris, booked through PH Chris Cawood of Southern Cross Safaris. Christie was hunting the CH 12 concession in northeastern Botswana. According to Mike Murray, they tracked the lion on foot for 12 to 14 hours a day for two days in a classic Botswana tracking-style hunt. Our hats off to everyone involved in this hunt.
