A Hunter Has Taken A Very Big Mountain NyalaPublished: July - 2007 As regards Ethiopia, Sudan's next-door neighbor, there is a bit of news to report. Seems a hunter by the name of Archie Nesbitt has taken a very big mountain nyala. The animal is said to measure around 36½ inches and have 11-inch bases, making it rank somewhere around No. 20 in the SCI Record Book. What's remarkable is, Nesbitt took the big nyala with a bow! We're trying to get more details about the hunt, exact measurements and a photo. Right now, all we know is the animal was taken the second week of June with Nassos Roussos' Ethiopian Rift Valley Safaris. Stay tuned....
