What Are The Efforts To Open AngolaPublished: May - 2007 So, what is the latest on efforts to open Angola? We mentioned in the January issue that a South African PH was working hard to bring this country on line. Well, this past month, we received a short note from that PH, who has asked me not to use his name yet. His note is not terribly informative, but I pass it along because the prospect of this country opening probably fascinates you as much as it fascinates me:
Just a short note to advise that we are still busy with the contracts for Angola. We are working on an area in the southeast of Angola on the Kwando River. You can perhaps imagine how difficult it is. We need to translate everything from Portuguese into English, answer it in English and then translate it into Portuguese again. It is a bit time-consuming, but we are on the winning side. I will let you know when we have dates for the first trip. ........(continued) |
