Elsewhere in southern Africa, we have been getting calls about the floods in Mozambique. Again, we have not turned up any alarming reports. The only company that appears to have been badly hurt by the floods is Gaza Safaris, which operates along the eastern border of Kruger National Park. At press time, Gaza was reliably reported to be rebuilding camps, preparatory to opening for business. The same is true of Piet Hougaard, who hunts along the northwestern border of the country, along the Zambezi River. At press time, he was opening his camps. As for camps down river from him in the Marromeu Delta, Hougaard said he knew of no significant problems.
