New Record Book For Alternative WeaponsPublished: December - 2006 Have you taken some exceptional trophies with a bow, muzzle- loader or handgun? Well, SCI is introducing a new record book that will recognize hunters using these alternative weapons to take any of the 752 listed game species. The new Alternative Methods Record Book debuts at the 2008 SCI Convention and will feature all of the taxonomic information on each species, plus the usual descriptions, maps and other information found in all of SCI's record books. The deadline to submit an entry is coming up fast, however. If you want to be listed in the first issue of this book, you must submit your entry by January 31, 2007.
