We have this news directly from Batsukh Delgersuren of Mongolian Travel, who tells us at press time that all the hunting companies have been informed of the new requirements and are gearing up to meet them. He says trophies that were waylaid have been shipped and clients should receive them soon if not already.
According to Delgersuren, hunters will be able to continue bringing their trophies home with them. The new requirements simply mean outfitters must allow enough time at the hunter's departure to deliver and process the trophies through Customs at the cargo terminal. Just be aware that there is one complicating factor in these newly adopted procedures - namely, the cargo terminal is closed on weekends. Keep this in mind when making your hunt travel arrangements to this destination.
